CEDAR FALLS — Remsen St. Mary's continued separating itself from the rest of the 8-player football field in Iowa after claiming its third state championship of the decade Thursday. St. Mary's earned a 51-12 victory over Gladbrook-Reinbeck in the 8-player title game at the UNI-Dome. Read more.

RSM will play Gladbrook-Reinbeck on Thursday, November 21, at 9:30 AM, in the state championship of class 8-man football. St. Mary's will be the home team and will be on the east side of the dome.
Tickets are $12.50, which includes parking, and can be purchased at each entrance to the UNI-Dome when the gates open (1 hour prior to game time). The UNI ticket office number is 319-273-4849. Purchase tickets online using the promotion code sent in the parent email and you won't have to pay an extra fee for students.

Congratulations to the football team, who will be playing their next game on Thursday, 11/21, at 9:30 am at the UNI-dome. Due to the game, there will be no school that day. Instead, we be having a full day of school on Tues., 11/26 and a 2-hour-early-out school day on Wed., 11/27. There will be no busing the afternoon of the 26th and no busing at all the 27th. Please note: Thanksgiving Mass has been changed to 11/27.
Each class has been asked to donate the items listed below, which will be collected at the Thanksgiving Mass on Wed., 11/27. Donations will be given to the Remsen Food Bank/Faith Hall Community Pantry. Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to the football game on Wednesday, our Veterans Day Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church in Remsen on Friday, Nov. 15, at 8:15 am. All are welcome.
Remsen St. Mary’s will play Bishop Garrigan in the state semifinals at the UNI-dome in Cedar Falls, Wednesday, 11/13. Kickoff will be at 10:00 AM. You will be able to listen to the game (audio only) on the Hudl app and KLEM Radio YouTube channel with coverage beginning at 9:30 AM. If you have WestTel cable, you can watch the game on channel 738 and channel 94. You can also catch it on the IHSSN app on your phone or at https://www.ihssn.com for a fee. There will be no school that day.

On Thursday, 11/7, RSM is hosting a district playoff game. All football postseason tickets must be purchased online because no cash is accepted at the gate. When purchasing online, be sure to select "football," "8 player," and tonight's game.
On Sunday, 11/10, we will be having our annual turkey supper fundraiser, open to the public, 4:30-7:00 pm, at St. Mary's High School cafeteria.
All-you-can-eat-buffet menu items include: turkey & gravy, homemade dressing, sweet corn, real mashed potatoes, homemade salads, and homemade desserts.
