The Diocese of Sioux City understands that every family is unique. We also understand that a Catholic education is a significant financial commitment for every family. To best serve our families and their varied needs, the Diocese offers the following Scholarships.

Monsignor Lafferty Tuition Foundation (MLTF)

Funded by contributions, this scholarship is awarded to families who meet the income eligibility requirements governed by the state of Iowa.

MLTF eligibility is based on Line 15 of the Federal 1040 (Federal Taxable Income). The Federal 2025 1040 must be submitted to TADS for eligibility and needs to be uploaded by May 8.

Students PK-12 must be 5 years old by September 15, 2026, to be eligible.

Catherine Bizle Trust

Funded through a trust, high school students (grades 9-12) are eligible to apply for awards based on need. Awards will be given to a student or students who do not qualify for an MLTF scholarship.

To be eligible for either scholarship, the TADS application must be submitted by May 1. Log into www.mytads.com to apply.
