High school students participate in a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program, allowing them to use their personal laptops or tablets for coursework. Chromebooks are available for checkout from the library when needed. All students acknowledge our technology policies by signing the Student Handbook.
Middle School (Grades 5-8)
Middle school students are assigned individual Chromebooks through our 1:1 program. Devices are housed in classrooms for easy access throughout the school day. Students sign the Student Handbook to acknowledge technology expectations and responsible use policies.
Elementary School (Grades PK-4)
Elementary students access age-appropriate technology through classroom device sets:
Teaching & Learning
Our teachers leverage technology to enhance curriculum and engage students in meaningful ways. Each elementary and middle school classroom is equipped with an IFPD (interactive flat panel display) and high school classrooms use a projector/screen for teaching. The elementary school has a computer lab for instructional technology and the middle school also has a STEM rotation that includes instructional tech classes.
Questions about technology at RSM or need tech support?
Students and staff are encouraged to stop by the IT office in the middle/high school building for technology assistance. The IT department is at your service to troubleshoot issues, answer tech-related questions, or help you get the most out of your devices. Please contact Kristin Conners, Technology Director at [email protected].
