On September 10, the War Eagle Conference hosted their annual Leadership Summit at Northwestern. Each school in the War Eagle conference can select up to 8 students in grades 9-12 to participate in the event. The purpose of the event is to develop students that have shown leadership characteristics at their schools, and to empower them to be positive school leaders.
The Remsen, St. Mary's students that attended this years summit were: Beau Johnson (SO), Dalton Klein (SO), Dayton Kneip (SO), Kinnick Mohning (JR), Hallie Bunkers (JR), Jada Pottebaum (JR), and Josie Schwickerath (SR).
The students were led through three leadership activities by the National Guard. The activities included a presentation about the responsibilities of a leader, a team obstacle course, and a team night vision task. Submitted by Jarrod Schott
